I thought I would devote my first post to looking back to 2008 and highlighting some of the most memorable things!
1. I graduated from Kansas State University in May!!... later to not find a job and not truly know what I want to do with my life... yeah but that's another story!!
2. My horse Thunder spent a lot of time at the vet and more of my money... like I haven't given enough... went to K-state. This time to the vet hospital where he had a minor surgery. This put us out of the show ring for awhile, but I got to spend extra time just being with him and now he is 100% good to go again!
3. A week in Missouri at 4-J Big Piney Horse Camp!! My "horse family" along with a few other awesome people traveled to Missouri and spent a week riding in the beautiful hills and through the crystal clear river! I gained a ton of trust in my horse and did some amazing things.. probably one of the best times of my life!
4. Committing to a new me! I .. reluctantly... joined weight watchers with my sister in July. Now.. what can I say.. the best thing she has ever made me do! I am determined to do well and find the me that's somewhere inside. In the few months I was a member in 2008 I lost a total of 26.6 lbs and have big goals for 2009!!
Well... those are the most memorable parts of 2008! After all the twists turns and craziness of last year... I'm excited for 2009 and what it might throw at me!
